- Анаген – фаза активного роста, длится 4,5 года
- Катаген – переходная фаза, длится 3 недели
- Телоген – фаза покоя и выпадения, длится 2-3 месяца
Если фолликул получает достаточно питания и клетки в ростковой зоне делятся нормально, каждый волос растет в среднем 4,5 года, а значит, по замыслу природы мы обеспечены густыми плотными волосами более чем на 100 лет.
Но в силу генетического фактора деление клеток прекращается, фаза активного роста (анагена) сокращается до нескольких месяцев и выпадение наступает быстрее положенного срока.
Когда закончится последний цикл, волосяной фолликул будет не в состоянии производить новые волосы. И на этом месте навсегда образуется лысина.
